"As a Scouter I've spent more than my fair share of nights sleeping in a tent, and almost always in the rain. My experience with this tent is no different. The first time I set it up was at night in the wind and pouring rain. It was a breeze. Over the next three days over 5" of rain fell, but not a drop on the inside of this sturdy little structure.
The inside room is more than ample, headroom is excellent and ventilation is great. Spend the extra bucks for the vestibule and you won't regret it.
All in all a great tent."
"I just spent 4 days in my Solstice. Rain, freezing rain, sleet and winds of 35-40 MPH.this tent took all of this with no problem even though I did not have the fly "guyed" down.
I remain a "happy camper""
"Agree with the others about the quality and watershedding characteristics. My clumsy fingers screwed up the zippers.. zipping up the door material but was able to undo this tangle without seriously damaging the material. Lesser tents would have been in shreds.Sky view feature great."
"My husband and I just spent a week at a camp in this tent. It rained and poured almost every day, but though most people had to dry out their tents each morning, our Kelty Solstice 4 stayed completely dry!"
