"Roomy, traditional Kelty fit & finish (above average).
Not overly gizmoed, some dedicated storage compartments (water, fuel, tent pole, etc.).
Exceptionally light, strong, and tweakable stays.
Lots of exterior fastening points and loops (should make a good climber).
I chose this particular model because it dosent have the expanded sides, (de-barkers), that stick out wider than the pack. Most of mine is done in the southeastern US, the trees are close together and the ground cover can be pretty high and thick.
At $100, it was cheaper than my boots.
I give it an 8.3, and their aint no 10's."
