"Marketed as a "weekender", this pack accomodates more than I need for a couple of nights on the trail. Sleeping bag inside, tent and ridgecrest mat lashed on the outside. It is comfortable, even fully loaded. But you'll want to add a water bottle holder."

"Tough, light, comfortable. Great speed pack. Can stuff lots in the main compartment, lots of lash points. Nice front pocket for keys, wallet, pen, light, knife, etc... Side pockets to reach small neccesary items. Great weekend pack. I took out the frame stays. Even has a 'hidden' pocket on top."

"Comfortably carried 40 lbs of gear food and water on a 5 day trail hike. I really appreciate the multitude of pockets to stash & organize stuff, plus a decent weight of under 4 lbs for the size. Typical Kelty quality that will last a lifetime. Definitely my favorite pack thus far!"

"I have 2 of these, the '03 version and the '05 love them both, the aluminum suspension is better, more mesh on the back and shoulders and a few differences in the '05. My '03 hardly looks used after 10 canyoning trips. Drop it down the cliff, it can take it! Very useful, adjustable, good looking, comfortable pack. Has some pockets for easy access unlike most 'rucksack' packs. Under 4 pounds with 3600 ci. I can carry 50 lbs in comfort. Great, durable, med. size 'speed' pack. Go Kelty!"
