"I got a great deal on this tent, probably because it has been discontinued. I could not resist the price. The first thing I noticed about this tent when it arrived was the fact that it is heavy (7-8lbs.)I set this tent up in the backyard for the weekend. Set-up was either difficult nor easy, it took me about 20 mins. This tent is not free standing, it must be staked. It has one vestibule, which is large enough for a small pack and boots. The interior is very spacious, and well thought out with build in gear loft, and mesh pockets in four corners. Two large doors, easy entry, and exit. I think this tent is large enough inside for two people and a large pack or(dog) not counting the vestibule . On a rainy day this tent would probably be the tent where two or three people would hang out, playing cards or something (it's that roomy). It snowed about three inches and then turn to rain for the rest of the day, temps between 29F to 35F. Inside the tent it stayed dry and warm, I had no trouble sleeping once I got to sleep (I used a 3/4 inch open cell pad, and a 1&1/2 inch swiss self inflated pad, with a Caribou Zeus -25F sleeping bag). The rain had stopped sometime in the night. In the morning I checked things out, the tent held up great, everything inside the tent was dry, it held heat very well. Bottom line; A little large and heavy for one person, and has to be staked down. This is a great tent if you are car camping, or have a partner to share the load. It will keep the nasty weather out, and has lots of room for a two person tent. "
