"I agree with the rest of the reviews on this piece of @%#&case.The problem I have with it is that the case is a little to tight on top. it is like there is to much pressure aginst the top of the lantern against the globe and I feel that is why the globe busts. I have never had a broken globe until I put the lantern in the case itself. I see that Coleman came out with a better design where as the case is molded and it looks like it splits like a clam shell and forms around the lantern better. I will buy it and will give another review this summer. Good luck folks!!!"

"I completely agree with previous two reviews. I bought due to low sale price, found case is junk. I've added hardware to keep bottom from falling out. Sure glad I didn't actually buy just the case! Besides, lantern fits loosely and rattles, case is unacceptably flimsy. Again, "Come on, Coleman, what is this stupid cr_p?!"

"I fully agree with AM of 9/18/00. I am glad my case came with my lantern; if I had spent money on it I would feel pretty stupid. I finally found some bungee cords to hold the thing closed, but still feel the need to check the bottom when walking with it. I broke one globe the first time I used the case. Another globe got broken when the case tumbled out of the van and opened, throwing out my lantern with it. Come on Coleman, figure it out!"

"I would not bother to write a review on such an insignificant piece of equipment-except that it is truly amazing to find a product which so utterly and completely fails in its sole purpose. Your lantern is more at risk if you use this product. It has two plastic tabs which are supposed to hold the bottom of the case in place. When you put a lantern in the case and move around, the tabs let the bottom loose and the bottom falls out and the lantern falls to the ground. You would think after one broken globe that I would learn my lesson. I put a strap around it (not part of the case)-but this past weekend the strapped slipped sideways, the bottom fell out and the lantern again fell to the ground. Congratulations Coleman I think the entire design team deserve a big raise in pay for this one."
