"I bought this tent in 2004 after reluctantly returning my Mountain Hardwear PCT 2. The Hyperlight is so much better: essentially the same weight, tons more room, and unlike the PCT, the fly doesn't permit splattering of water underneath it and into the tent body. I've used the Hyperlight for 10 months /~30 nights have had it everywhere from the 8,000ft in Canadian Rockies to sea level on the rain soaked Olympic Coast. It has yet to disappoint me. There is a ton of room inside for 2 people and all their gear in addition to its respectable vestibule and numerous tie-down points. One note: given the “unique floor plan” you may have to sleep “staggered” my girlfriend (5’8”) and I (6’3”) do this with our respective belongings in each corner."
