"I purchased this tent because I wanted a roomy 2 person tent that weighed under 6 pounds. I love it. It's light enough for me to carry yet I can fit three people in it. It is very easy to pitch. 3 people have just enough room, 2 have plenty to move around. I recently had it on a trip where it rained for 10 straight hours during the night and not one drop came in. I absolutely recommend this tent to anyone who needs a roomy lightweight tent. One drawback: not freestanding."

"This tent has just about the best space-to-weight ratio of any tent made. About 45 square feet of interior space, with decent headroom, and a vestibule to boot! This tent is not freestanding, and does require seam sealing, but these are minor drawbacks for those looking to shave some weight."

"Purchased this tent from REI in March of 04'. Have used it numerous times from backyard camping with the kids,to 10 days in the Tetons and Yellowstone backcountry. This has been the best performing tent I have owned. Prolonged rain and snow have not been a problem and I have always been warm and dry. It is roomy for two adults and can sleep 3. My only complaint is the smallish vestible. Best size to weight ratio I could find for backpacking. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lightweight tent with plenty of room for two."

"While people go on about the weight factor of this tent It comes at the cost of "liveable" space. The tent's peak height and sharp tapper at the end relegates you and your partner to the front of the tent (by the door.) This may not sound like a big deal but consider this. After a day of steady rain sitting in one spot trying to wait-out the weather with one or two people in the front half of this tent can be a test on your nerves. This same thing has happened to me with the "Clip Flashlight" and it's the reason why my current tent is free-standing."
