Vasque Superhikers Review

"Guess what, these were my second pair of boots. And all I have
to say is that I love one piece leather. They never leaked and held
up great. I used them to go all over the Yukon for three weeks in
creeks, alders, boulders and snow and they worked great. You
would think that after all that the soles would wear down some,
but they still have deep treads on them. But I guess since this is a
review I should tell some cons. The metal eyes that the shoelaces
go through tend to be sharp, so they cut my shoelaces a couple of
times. That is the bad thing about them. These are great boots, but
if you are just going to go day hiking or stuff on trails, save your
money."

"I love this boot. Its a great medium weight hiker that offers excellent traction and comfort. Most comfortable shoe of any kind I've ever worn. Plenty of room in the toebox and great ankle support. They keep my feet dry and comfortable. I recommend these boots to anyone interested in rough trail backpacking. Buying these boots was an important addition to my gear, because as the saying goes, "Take care of your feet and your feet will take care of you.""

"I bought these boots about a year ago and have been hiking on several day hikes and one or two multi-night hikes. While hiking this past weekend, the soles of BOTH shoes cracked on the sides and separated completely from the boots. Luckily, I had some medical tape which got me back to the car. After searching for reviews, I found that many other people have had the same problem. This should not happen on a shoe of this caliber. Save your money for another brand!
On a better note, if longevity doesn't mean anything to you, they are very comfortable boots."
