"I considered getting a one person tent, but am so thrilled with this one I bought a second for my son who is in the Scouts. Good ventilation, holds up to any storm (so far), perfect shape and large vestibule. Very easy to set up and take down. If it's wet, just pick the whole darn thing up fly and all and shake it off."

"This tent is awesome! It has great space, ventialtion, packabiltiy and weight. I used the RwaV in Canyonlands NP, Utah. It was August and the heat was unbelievable! There were a few rain showers so the fly wasn't an option. The ventialtion of this tent was great. We pulled in every little breeze there was and stayed dry throughout. There is a zipper located at one end so you can cinch up the fly for more air. The all mesh door is at the other end and there are two windows at the top of each side.
I also used it during a monsoon in Rocky Mountain NP. I took the liberty of sealing the fly, floor and footprint. It comes taped but I always recommend sealing all stitching yourself. The only time the tent was wet was when I packed it in the stuff sack. It rained heavily for 5 out of the 6 days we hiked and we stayed dry for the whole trip.
Room w/ a View sleeps two average sized people very comfortabley with plenty of room to spare. The vestibule is a good size and the clips make it very easy and fast to put up. There is a "moonroof" on the top of the fly to check out the stars and also a window in the vestibule door to check out any intruders to your site. This tent packs up light and tight and is perfect for any length of trip."

"I love this tent. Used it for a few nights in august up in the Presidentials and it worked perfectly. Tons of ventilation, although nice in theory, was the only problem because on a cold august night the tent got a little two cold for my liking. Set up is wicked easy, very very sturdy tent. Fly comes out wide, giving a nice vestibule area for packs. The room inside of it is incredible, fits two adults (and gear) with no problem. I would not hesitate to take mine out and squeeze three people in there. It's a little pricey, and for a two person it's a little heavy. Clear plastic moonroof is incredible, and makes the tentworth it by itself."

"I love the tent The only problem that I encountered was when applying the fly you can't scinch it down far enough to the ground so it gets a little to mutch ventalation"

"I have had this tent since it came on the market in 98 or so. This tent is awesome! It's not as light as some of their brand new fabrics, but this tent is BOMB PROOF. I have gotten caught in some HELATIOUS storms (remember the one that washed out the New River in 2001?). I was bone dry by morning and thankful I was still alive. The fly not reaching the ground is a plus on the sides for warmer weather (not a 4 season tent). It sets up in 3 minutes, has lots of pockets and intiutive features inside as well. One thing: I went ahead and bought the "Add an Attic". I may not have installed it correctly, but it's really loose, and it comes off the hooks often. I don't really get it, and in hindsight I don't use it much. DO, however, buy the footprint. You can use it and the fly and poles only for an ultralightweight tent that's as waterproof as most Coleman and Eureka tents!"

"What can I say that hasn't been said? Not much, but I want to mention what a great tent I think this is, if you don't mind a little weight. I've used it for two people (plenty of room), but mostly just use it for myself (I like to have a lot of room)."

"This tent has preformed great but must be seam sealed or you can experience leaks. The only thing that would make this tent better is if the fly could be left up while you bag the tent in the rain. Solve this problem and shave a view pounds off the weight and the only reason you would ever want another tent is if you were in a blizzard as in this tent with the wind blowing right you would get some drift under the fly and into the tent. Keep up the great work everyone who has had the opertunity to use this tent with me wants one that tells you something."

"My wife and I love this tent. We primarily do kayak touring/camping. Sets up fast, plenty of room for 2, and you can sit up. Key thing with fly, cinch done end opposite of door to get fly as low as possible. Definitely seam seal for heavy weather. I thought this tent would be too ventilated but I have been toasty in 38 degree rainy Maine weather. Not the lightest but a very trick tent none the less."

"Positives: Easy setup, roomy. Love this tent for kayak camping. Mesh front allows you to keep the fly on the top and roll the front open to "see" your surroundings. Great for sunset/sunrise viewing.

Negatives: Side walls could use benefit from guy loops, but a minor issue."

"Tent is extremely sturdy. Went through quite a few storms in it. Windows are well thought out. 3-season tent, though I have used it in the snow as well. Gets really hot in the sun, as most tents I guess would. Condensation is a huge problem. I've tried everything to solve that problem with no luck. Ended up selling it on eBay for more than I bought it. Took the money and bought an REI Halfdome Plus and pocketed some change. The REI tent is a five-star. This one, I'll give 3."
