"Beware of the airjet singlewalled non-breathable tents. You can stay drier in the shower. Also they have the worst customer service I have ever seen. If you would like more info I have a 6 page doc that I will be more then happy to e-mail you. After taking the info to our local outfitter, They refuse to sell it. Even this years BP gear guide warns of condensation. The info covers temps, humidity, and wind (all recorded by the Cal Hydro Dept) in which the tent was used and has pics of the ounces of water which condensated even after most was absorbed by our WM down bags. Once again BEWARE of the RAINHUT. You have been warned!!!!!"

"I just want to let people know that we care if people are unsatisfied with their tent purchase. We back up our tents 100%, satisfaction guaranteed. James is happily outfitted with a lightwedge 3 tent. Superlight single wall tents are not for all conditions.-Sean MH Design, feel free to email info@mountainhardwear.com for any questions or concerns about the application of single wall tents."

"I used my new Airjet on a backpacking trip in Southern Utah this fall. I expected some condensation built up, especially since we were walking down a river and had some rain. But not a drop of condensation. Given the other reviews here, I would recommend this tent for the western US where the humidity is lower than in the east."

"I used my new Airjet at Glacier National park this summer. I must say the tent is very roomy, but the condensation was terrible. I woke up one night to a light mist in the tent, with my sleeping bag getting wet, because the rain was knocking the condensation from the tent roof. As for customer service I returned the tent with no problems."

"Wow... too bad I didn't read these reviews until after I bought the tent. This tent does collect the water big time.. I thought the 360 degree ventilation, plus the top vents would help... but not at all. Stick to arid climates for this roomy, rock solid tent."

"I used my airjet last summer in the middle of August on the shore of Lake Superior's Pictured Rocks. With two of us in the tent we expierenced very little condensation and woke dry as a bone for two weeks straight. Thanks MH for building a lite weight product that surpasses anything I've used in the past."

"Great tent. Had it for two years now, been everywhere from Utah desert to North Cascades glaciers with me.
As far as condensation: I have found that as long you are careful about opening the bottom vents by using their guy lines, it breathes just fine."
