"This is a great car camping tent. At 12 pounds it isn’t a great backpacking tent unless you split is up between three people. It is basically a 9’X9’ dome tent and 6’ high. The fly isn’t full covering but will hold out the rain and wind just fine. There are plenty of anchor points to hold the tent down in a storm. You could easily fit four people in this tent. At a price of $200 this tent is a good buy for anyone who car camps and likes to be able to stand up to dress."

"I got the 2-3 person, and it's worked out pretty well with the following exeptions:
SEAL the rainfly--it's a 3 season with a mesh roof that will drip on you in any kind of rain (seal included) GUY out the tent if you are expecting wind. A 2 pole, 1 intersection tent will lay flat with any kind of wind. Otherwise, the bathtub style floor has exceded my expectations, and the awning-style fly is great for sitting in the tent and watching the rain through the open door without getting wet. Actually, that's it's coolest feature (if you like watching rain)!"

"I have the 8X8 Tetragon and have taken it backpacking with my family of four. It is 9 lbs max plus groundcloth. I've not used it in rain, but it is easy to set up, and has good ventilation. The awning is good for letting you sit in the tent and enjoy a view. I had not sealed the fly, but I will take the other fellow's advice and do so. It has fiberglass poles, so you wouldn't want to use it at real cold temps. I only paid $89 so I feel at ease using it for girl scout camping."

"I have had the Tetragon 9 for years. It is a great tent for a car camper. I would highly recommend it. I have only had bad experience with water. It was due to user error. The weather forcast was calling for blue sky's all weekend, So I created a porch area with my ground cover. Needless to say, when we got 30 minutes away from camp (fishing) The downpour started and the "porch" area wicked the water right into the bottom of the tent. I've had this tent set up in other downpours with associated high winds and never had a problem. I highly recommend Eureka tents to anyone looking for a good quality product. (New ones look ugly to me, but I'm just partial to mine)"
