"Good tent for the money. This little tent is a cinch to setup, and very stable in the wind (with rainfly). A bit stuffy with the rainfly on, but it has doors on each side (easy access-no crawling over tent partner with 3AM nature call), and also vestabules on each side for gear. Only 2 gripes: a bit heavy (7lbs.), and it is just a tad bulky, but not overly so. For the cost, it is a great tent, especially for boy scouts or 3+ season campers. I would trust it in a pretty strong wind, and snow as well, so it would work for most peoples needs. Wouldn't take it on an expidition though, but I won't be going on any!!"

"I bought this tent a couple of years ago on clearance at Sports Chalet for $99.00 and it was a steal. It has withstood 50mph winds, blowing snow and rain without getting me wet. The secret is the fly which has about 12 guy points and provided a rock solid turtle shell and makes it damn near a four season tent. Without the fly its a great summer tent with two vestibules. The vestibules are big enough to cook in and hold both your pack and boots while keeping them dry. The only negative things I can think of are the tent is a little heavy (over 6lbs) and the stuff sack is way too big. The supplied stakes are crummy but I replaced them with Mountain Hardware ones and now the system works great. The tent seams came taped from the factory but I seam sealed them anyway and I have yet to have a drop of water come through. Overall I'd rate it a 4.75 for the value and easy of setup. I only wish they made a fastpack footprint for it."

"I find this tent to be handy. The storage space is amazingly large. The window is a convienience, but more of a disadvantage. After about 60 nights of use, the window is all I needed to replace; a tiny hole appeared.
There are plenty of clips, and I learn how to use them correctly, as well as the guy lines, then I think I can have a stable shelter in the wind. Price-wise, I think that the tent is acceptable. The main disadvantage, beyond the window, is the weight. I have been able to reduce the max-weight to 6lb by replacing the zipper-heads with string and leaving the bags at home."

"I have used this tent over the past 4 years. I believe it is a good value for the money. Storm flaps have been added to the fly which prevents dripping water through the zipper. I added the footprint from Kelty's Gunnison 2 tent which have the same ladder clips as this tent and have rigged this as a fast fly set up very effectively."

"I bought this tent about 2 years ago and it has held up better than any other tent I have ever had. It has gone through 60 mph winds, it has been rained on many times with out leeking once, snow has not been a problam. It is light. I have been on many week adventures and weekends with it. The only thing is that I did not expect to be small. They said 2 person tent but you are a little close to someone especially if they snore. Overall this has been a great tent."
