"Bought these boots a month ago for a song ($40 on zappos.com) and used them for a backpacking trip down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back. They performed great. It snowed, sleeted, hailed and rained; my feet stayed warm and dry to whole time. Afterwords, despite layers and layers of mud, they cleaned up almost like new. Very comfortable out of the box with no break in necessary. The only real downside is that, while the shoe fit true to size (in this case size 7), the ball of the foot is overly large, and mine is a little wider than normal. I'm not sure I'd pay the MSRP ($180) for these, but anywhere near $100 would be a good deal."

"Incredible boots. Never let me down. I`ve been using asolo since i was 17 - 6 years now, and those boots are the greatest boots for their price! It is well known and accepted in our kind of work (we do rescue missions in Vitosha - a mountain near Sofia). And it is the only boot that realy keeps you dry! No other boot did. Say hello the the new world leader... Now The TPS HIGHLAND IS AN EXCELLENT BOOT USEFUL IN MANY CONDITIONS, BUT STILL YOU MUST KNOW WHERE ARE YOU GONNA WEAR THEM! It is a rock boot very useful in mountain conditions. Vibram sole, gore-tex body..... no need to continue, but the most important of all - IT IS ASOLO!!!!"
