"Based on the same footprint as the Bibler bipod bivy, the Light Sabre uses a two pole setup that gives you plenty of storage space behind your head. There is enough room to store a pair of boots, clothing, or daypack, and even read a book. It has a hip length zipper to provide easy access that also includes a no-seeum mesh door for stargazing, and this model only weighs in at a mere 1lb 5ozs. It sheds water like ducks back, and even with rain dampened clothing stored inside, I experienced minimal condensation. There's plenty of room too toss and turn, and the four stake out points keep the bivy in place. The only down side is you have to seam-seal it yourself. Using the sealer and applicator syringe provided, it took me about an hour. And it must be sealed from the outside do to the way it's sewn from within. All in all it's a very funtional piece of gear that is a good choice for the weight conscience."

"I used the Bibler,Light Saber Bivy for a 5 day trip hiking around Mt. Adams WA. I found it very easy to set up and enough room to store small items. On one especially cold, damp night the tent was completely sealed up except for the foot area vents. In the morning I was swimming in water, condensation. Both dried out in the AM quickly. Recommend vent area be left open as much possible. This may be an inherant problem of all bivy's. All in all enjoyed the experiance."
