"I've had my Cats Meow 3D for four years and absolutely love it! It's the first mummy bag I ever bought and have not been dissapointed. I've slept warm in the bag until the temp dips near 20. I haven't found it makes it down to its 15 rating, but few bags ever truly meet their ratings. Despite its narrow cut, the interior fabric is extremely comfortable to the touch, never clammy. The bag has put up with a lot and I would definitely recommend this bag to anyone seeking an affordable synthetic 3 season bag."

"I will agree for the price it is a good bargain. But, it is way to large. I would recommend to anybody backpacking that a downbag is the way to go. Lighter, more compactable, easily a better choice. Plus, with companies like Western Mountaineering still making bags that are relativly inexpensive and have great customer support; why would you by something from a company that has already sold out twice in the past."

"Got this bag as my first backpacking bag and am so thankful I did. It is very warm and comfortable. Rugged. Full of extra features. Compresses very well. Looks cool too! "

"I think it is one of the best bags on the market. I have used this bag in minus 10 degrees f. it still kept me toastie. It drives super fast when wet and it is light enough for an Appalation trail thru hike. I bought the bag before I started the three years ago and it still is going strong with about 400 nights sleept in it!"

"a great sleeping bag that works for 15+ temperatures. can be a little cold though. i have used it in many occasions and it works great. i would recommend it for anybody that wants a light-weight sleeping bad."

"Could there be a better sleping bag? Well I think not. It is highly compressable. You can actualy watch it rise. Absoultly the best. A must for avid backpackers. A five star rating."

"The Cats Meow is a good sleeping bag for a good price. Good loft, stuffs very well and keeps you warm to +15f. I would recomend to get a little bit bigger stuff sack because the one you get is a little bit to small even though the bag will stuff into it. Used mine many times and does what they say it does."

"A really good bag. Compresses well, lofts up well after being compressed. No draftiness or cold spots. Weighs a bit over 3 Lbs. Easy to clean if nessesary. A bit narrow for huskier sleepers. An all around good 3-season bag."

"I agree with the other post! This bag is dynamite. Lofts up pretty fast and full and compresses to a nice small bundle (for a synthetic at least!). Not too pricey either. The '99 model looks pretty fancy dancy and has a few more features missing from the '98. I have the '98--couldn't pass on the price!"
