"I've been using this pack for over two years. It took a while to get all of the adjustments taken care of, but after that it was good to go. This is also my first internal frame pack. I'm 6'2" and weigh in at 220. I read another review that complained of a single opening on top, but mine has a zypper near the bottom. Maybe mine is a later model."

"I have a variation that Dana marketed a few years back called the "Bridger Overkill" - the standard Bridger but made of extra heavy (Cordura I believe) fabric. I normally carry about 35 pounds. Most of what I do is hut to hut or hotel to hotel hiking in Europe and it's perfect for this use. This is the third pack I've bought for my particular need and I expect that it will be the last. My version has full length side zippers for easy access throughout the pack and I have a number of Dana accessories for additional easily accessible storage options. Unless you grossly overload the pack it fits into the carry on sizer box for most airlines."

"I’ve had this pack for a few years now and have few complaints. I’m 6’2” 220 lbs as well and this pack fits me very nicely. One thing I don’t like is the mesh area on the back of the pack; it’s a little too baggy. The other is the way the top of the pack is attached; it’s removable along with the hip belt to make a daypack. I’ve never done this and it’s hard to keep the top adjusted properly."
