petzl mega w/ (3) - C batteries Review

"While taking a 50'-70' fall in an pit that will remain nameless my Mega fell the rest of the apprx. 180' hit the deck promptly exploded, after some quick & relatively easy rebuilding I was back in business. Other that normal maint. it was the most reliable lamp I have ever owned & WISH like F*&r%@g%n&*A heck they would be brought back, along w/much of us.The battery pack in the rear might be to heavy for some of our limp necked participants that is all I have got from anyone asked at camp sites, a very few at some caving get togethers. Please give more insite to this most disresssing bleakness. I can't find anything that compares.
