"I own a Gaz 270 turbo. It is a great stove, very small, very reliable, very light, and extremely convenient. Powerful? It boils a qt. of H20 in under 4 minutes. The really great thing is that I also have a GAZ bivouac lantern, which uses the same fuel canister. I only wish the fuel was cheaper (it IS much cheaper in Europe, by the way.)"

"This is a great little stove. Light weight, compact, easy to assemble, and the propane/butane cartridges last a long time (they are also light weight and small). It works fine in breezy conditions & boils quickly. It also very reasonably priced."

"This is my first stove and I love it! First, it is very reasonably priced only $25. Second, it is light weight 9.8 oz and packs small. Third, this stove has a good wind blocker. Fourth, it is so easy to use. This stove just snaps on to the fuel canister and turn the gas on and light it. There is no priming, or pumping the fuel canister. When I'm hungry I don't want to have to mess with all that jaz, I just want to start cooking. I also look smarter in camp when I'm cooking and the other guys are pumping their fuel canisters and it just looks tiring after hiking 15 miles in the mountians. This stove with the campgaz lantern is a must for those who like low cost, low weight, and a no fiddling around with stove."

"I've owned an earlier model of this stove since 1992. I love the ease of use. About the only thing that could go wrong on this stove is if the internal valve on the canister failed and even then it would still work, you'd just have to leave the stove attached all the time. An so far I've never had a valve fail yet. This stove is clean, simple, and powerful, yet you are left with a bulky empty canister or a near empty canister at the end of every second or third backpacking trip. Its no fun to run out of fuel before your last meal is finished. So, I plan a car camping trip where I can use up the "empties". They are also great to keep for power outages. But once the canisters are finally empty they need to be recycled. As long as they don't get tossed into landfills, this stove is the best for all but freezing temperatures."

"I've been using this stove for about three years and have had no problems. I usually use it about five times a year and have only gone through two canisters. I was a little skeptical, because my wife bought it for me unassisted, but I am glad I have it. It has never let me down. I don't use it in below freezing temps. though."
