"This bag has worked well for me on quite a number of campouts in varying weather conditions. In my experience, in warm weather (75+) this bag will be too hot. In weather down to about 40 degrees this bag works very well. I tested it recently on a night that got down to 19 degrees. I was wearing a thick beanie cap & gloves with thick socks and two sets of pants long sleeve shirts (one a thin wicking layer and the other a thicker polypropylene insulating layer). I also had a thin cotton Kelty hostel liner but I don't think it helped much. At first I was quite warm (it was about 24 degrees at first) and slept soundly from around 11pm to 5am. Then I awoke from the cold. From around 5am to 8:30am when I got up I was only able to doze because of the cold. I wasn't freezing cold, but definitely uncomfortable. My toes got very cold. I think part of the reason this bag doesn't work as well for me in cold temps is because it is too big so I get a bunch of cold spots. Incidentally, the other fellow I was out with was using a Slumberjack Odyssey 10 degree bag and although not dressed as warmly as myself (most notably he wasn't wearing a hat) he got very cold likewise. BTW, we were both using sleeping pads. The pros of this bag is that it is very comfortable and very affordable and works well in moderate temps."

"Got this @ a Bass Pro Shop and used it for a week so far, about half the time in the rain. It got a little wet when i was setting it all up one day but it stayed dry & warm inside. Very very comfortable, condences into a smallish load for a backpack, not super small but pretty good considering its a 20 degree pack. Definatly a good mummy bag for the price, was like 45 bucks. Even looks spiffy, blue/yellow."

"This bag might be good as a summer bag. Took this into the backcountry and nights hit 35 and 25. At 35...I froze and froze bad. At 25...I still think about that night and sometimes consider myself lucky that it didn't get any colder. I no longer take any equip that I have not demo'd in the conditions I will be in. I learned a lesson with this bag. Since my excursion, I have read reviews of others freezing in this bag at much warmer temperatures than what I experienced. This is a bag I do NOT recommend."

"Bag does not work under 40 degrees. You will be cold. If you have this bag, make sure you store it out of the sack or it will get worse quick."
