"I was very pleased with this bag from the beginning. It is listed as an outer bag but it is just a light 45 degree bag cut a bit bigger. The material is very non-nylon like and has a good bit of loft. The only thing I can really gripe about is the fact that the inner liner isn’t sewn into the outer liner except for at the feet. When I roll over in the night while just using the bag alone the inner liner twists quite a bit. This can fixed with some simple quilting. I’ve never had the chance to stretch the temp rating limits but I feel it would be comfortable at 45 degrees. The best thing about this bag is the fast that it will extend my 20 degree bags usage to 0 degrees. It makes the 20* bag a bit more cramped but it is very warm and cozy. This bag only weighs 2 1/2 lb. and packs down to 7” X 14”. At $69 it may seem a bit expensive but the fact that it keeps me from spending and extra $100 on a 0* bag I can’t use above 30*, it’s worth it."
