"I purchased this bag two years ago as a cold weather bag, but its versatility has made it my bag of choice for most of my backpacking trips. Last weekend I took it to Fiery Gizzard, expecting mild temps, but a front brought record cold temps and snow flurries, and I slept toasty warm. Usually in the Springtime I would have opted for my 40 degree bag, but took the NeverSummer instead, it was a wise choice. I spend around 35 days a year under the stars, this bag has seen temps in the single digits in Kilmer Wilderness to the 60's in the late Spring and early Fall hikes here in the South. I am 6'5" and even though I wish there were more room, I know that it would be a trade off on size and weight. Great bag if you don't intend to use it in the South's humid Summers."

"This bag is great. If you're looking for a sleeping bag that actually keeps you warm when the mercury falls to the bag's temp rating, this bag is for you. I recently used this bag on a winter campout and loved it. After a long day of hiking, nothing looked more inviting at the end of the day than those 7 lucious inches of down. The bag has a very thermally efficient cut and a hood that feels like it's tailored to your noggin's dimensions.
I am a cold sleeper by nature. When the temps drop into the low 20's-high teens, I can comfortably sleep with the bag almost completely unzipped. I found that this bag, for its price, is one of the lightest bags on the market with a zero degree rating.
Great Bag."

"I have an earlier model of this bag but the concept is the same.

It is well-constructed and warmer than I need for Sierra summer trips, though it comes up a bit short for winter use for me. (It may be sufficient for most good winter Sierra conditions if you are willing to butress it with extra clothes, etc.)

Compared to some of the 800 and 900 fill bags it is a bit on the heavy side for a bag in this temperature category, and it does not stuff as small. However, this is not unexpected given the lower price point.

To summarize, a fine bag for those who don't want to pay a higher price for greater compressibilty and lighter weight."
