Amelia Timbers, 0/0/00 User Rating:
"I bought this bag looking for a light, compact, sub freezing bag for multi day backpacking trips in possibly extreme conditions. It is light, at like less than 3 lbs, and super compact in its own uncompressions ack, a little 8 by 8 type of thing. The manufacturer boasts 23 F, -5C, with thinsulate, hollofil and all sorts of other fils. Well anyway. I took it into 45 deg Point Reyes (Northern CA), on a clear night. No tent, yes light wind, but not even CLOSE to freezing, and I was SO uncomfortable that I put on all my layers, and even then, I couldnt stay warm and sleep. This is an amazing misrepresentation of a cold weatehr bag, appropriate, in my opinion, for 60 F or warmer, single season summer bag. Currently experimenting with liners, as unfortunately I clipped the tags and cant return it."

"I experienced the same. I bought this sleeping bag in 2004 for travelling in Hawaii and it perfectly fit the temperature there. But last year november it couldn't kept me warm in a hostel in Barcelona, Spain without radiation. So I thing, whoever want to by a sleeping bag like this, look for something else."
