The boots are somewhat disapointing, for while the g-tex keeps me dry and they have a vibram sole, Danner didnt use their usual extra wide foobed, and shock absorbing dual density midsole
on these. Also, the nylon shank is 3/4 length and too thin to be supportive. Crampons just dont work with this one. I think I got a lemon and will be sending them back under warranty.
