"This stove gets an A+ for durability. It looks like it could take a grenade hit, and doesn't weigh more than a pound or two when filled. It runs on white gas, and one fillup gives you about two hours of burn time.

It burns incredibly hot - I boiled an entire gallon of water in just about 15 minutes, and it was very easy to light.

Downside: no regulator - this baby is obviously intended to be used simply for boiling water. I doubt if you could simmer it very well. (You may be able to make some experiments with pump pressure, I dunno). I don't do much more than boil water for any of my backpacking meals, so this isn't really an issue for me.

And the price couldn't be beat, my father-in-law got it for me for about five bucks at a surplus outlet.

I'd give it a 4 out of 5 for what I intend to use it for. People who need fancier equipment probably won't be as satisfied."

"Awesome stove it will burn nearly any fuel that is poured into it. I have seen this stove operatewith helicopter fuel and even the dirty diesel fuel from Army vehicles. Heavy as hell would not recommend Hiking with it. However the canteen cup stove is not bad with esbit or tioxene fuel tabs."
