Rock Water Designs Hoodoo Review

"This is a very large (100 L or 110L) pack great for extended
hiking trips and canoe portaging. It is covered in straps and tie-downs which are very convenient for those "layering down" days or if you realize you forgot to pack something after you're all set to go (this happens to me a lot). I've used this pack (I have the 90 + 10 L version) on 3, 4, and 5 day hiking trips in Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario and the Bruce Trail. I also punished it on a rough 8 day canoe trip in Temagami.... it did a great job. To top it all off, the Hoodoo is a good looking pack aswell. I do not however recommend it for smaller people, as it is not as "form-fitting" and balanced as smaller packs. Some of my smaller friends have had difficulties hauling it with a full load. If your looking for a larger, multi-purpose, convenient pack, I truely recommend the Rockwater Designs "HOODOO". (this company does have a homepage, I don't know the name, but I found it while searching for "camping gear") NOTE: Rockwater Designs also manufactures some fantastic tents and sleeping bags.... their site has color pictures."
