"I bought this pack last year for my wife.It was tested last August for the first time ,on the Western Uplands in Algonquin. It did not fare well, and I found it to be a disappointment. The seams around the hood gave away, and the rip- stop nylon material did a extremely good job of ripping. This pack also developed several small holes as it came into contact with branches on the trail. The company was good about honouring the warranty and repaired it free of charge and replaced the hood.We still have it but will limit it to light duty and weekend trips.I have since talked to a dealer whom got out of the Rock Water Backpacks due to problems with their rip-stop material. So buyer beware!!
