"Don't laugh because i bought a peak, it was just an experiment with the flex frame! This pack is only good if you are NOT carrying alot of weight. I used it with about 40 lbs for four days thru the Ocala national forrest in FL. The pack killed my lower back! Some how i could not adjust it correctly (5'11") and this thing drove itself into my lower back. Also it is not stable on itself when filled. good 2 day pack with under 25 lbs, maybe but if your serious buy something else"

"these backpacks are really good for kids. the size is right and they are very adjustable. Not for tall adults."

"This is a great backpack when set up properly. I have carried over 80 pounds in this pack with no trouble at all (with the XPD large frame (34 inch tall frame with the heavy duty hip belt/shoulder harness). There are a lot of adjustments, which I am sure most people don't bother with. If you take the time to adjust it to your body frame properly it is by far the most comfortable pack set up for short and extended backpacking trips. I am over 6 foot tall and it still works great for me.
I prefer it over the internal frame packs I have used in the past. It is too bad coleman is retiring the Peak 1 line."
