"I have had my mountainsmith since 91 Africa, South America, Europe, and North America with lots of hard travel and backpacking.
Shoulder ajustment straps broke, one in UK and one in Ecuador, Dealer REI fixed it free, Top pocket does not come off to form daypack. HEAVY loads and the aluminum stays deform. To much pack for the suspension system, under 50 lbs. and it works very well."
