"A great expedition pack for carrying serious loads. It has a clean, simple design and can be infinitely adjusted. This pack may be overkill unless you are going for a week or more."

"I've had my Denali Pro for about 3 years and have used it for Rainer's Wonderland Trail, the AT in Virginia, the PA Grand Canyon, the NY High Peaks, etc. The positives are the load capacity and ease, the great fit, the rugged material, and the features of the pack. The downsides are the weight and price. I'm happy I own mine since I bought it at a PRO deal price when I was guiding, but unless you are doing serious stuff, stick to Gregory's backpacking line. All the functions of the PRO line are there (minus the real heavy material) and the weigh and price are much better. I highly recommend Gregory packs because the company is run well, their products are excellent, and they are extremely good to work with!"

"I bought this pack because we were going to climb aconcahua in Argentina, however, I have used in many other backpacking / camping trips. I am amazad how much stuff it fits. It makes a squeeking noise when its fully loaded and heavy. But sorprisenly confortable. Expensive, but good. Solid."

"This is the best expedition pack available. Absolutely rock solid construction with great adjustability and fit. I fit into a medium pack but exchanged the medium hipbelt for a large hipbelt for an even better fit. I sell backpacking gear for a living and look and test all the best packs available. The Arc' Teryx Bora 95 was a solid and beautiful pack but I preferred the more substantial hipbelt of the Denali Pro and felt that it gave more support due to its greater reinforcement. The large Dana Designs packs were all solid contenders as well. In the end I think that the Gregory Denali Pro was the best for me and by far the most solid. I have taken it all over the world and it has always performed flawlessly with substantial loads."

"I picked this pack over the Bora 95 after hearing a friend list it as one of the 5 things he'd like to be buried with. I wouldn't go that far, but it is an amazing pack for week+ excursions and cinches tight enough to double as a weekend pack if it must. The pack is completely indestructable and I found the crampon pouch an added plus. Gregory just seems to do it all right, I would highly recommend this pack."
