    Thirty minute house tours are offered throughout the day first tour 9:30 a.m. the last is 4:00 p.m. Tours leave from the first floor of the house on the hour and the half-hour. There is a $3.00 charge for adults. Golden Age, Access and Eagle passes are accepted. Ranger programs scheduled throughout the week. Topics range to cover the diversity of Sandburg, his works and his significance. Rootabaga Stories - Childrens stories performed on stage. Thursdays/Saturdays through August 19th. The World of Carl Sandburg - Sandburg's life and works performed on stage. Wednesdays/Fridays through August 18th. Hiking trails - 5 miles. Historic Building tour - self guiding. Barn Operations - Rangers and volunteers work the barn area and will provide information about the goats and Mrs. Sandburg's dairy goat operation.
