"My first 4-season tent, after numerous lesser tents, and I have found tent-Nirvana. There is something about my Moss Stardome II that goes beyond functional beauty and incredible construction. I spent my first night in it at a windy outside temp of 18 degrees. My thermometer inside showed a comfortable 47 degrees, just from my body heat. Once I zipped into my bag, that dropped, but a heavy frost and strong wind didn't even come close to penetrating my outdoor home. This tent is worth its weight, a construct of functional elegance and structural beauty. I'm going to have to buy a Moss 3-season, too!"

"The best traditional two-man tent ever made. It is heavy by today's standards (8 lbs) but the aerodynamic shape, low profile and strong construction make it bombproof in any weather. The hopped vestibule is the most practical and useable vestibule design in any contemporary tent. Later models have continuous pole sleeves, which are handy. Made in USA until the year 2000, a similar design was carried forward by MSR. Still available on EBay (at elevated prices) but well worth it."
