"This is my third tent. I tried some others and have slept in tents that belonged to friends and I have yet to find one that tops this tent. The large vestiblule is great for storing gear at night or if you bring a dog it offers shelter for man's best friend. I been through snow and rain with this tent and it has always come through. L.L. Bean calls it a 3 season tent but it will handle snow if it should fall. In fact Backpackers lists the tent as a 4 season in their yearly gear review. If you are looking for a light weight (7lbs), reliable tent for backpacking I strongly recomend this tent. L.L Bean's costumer service is second to none and you simply can't beat the price ($175 + shipping)."
