"This is a good 3-season solo tent. It's a two-pole rectangular dome design with a narrow footprint. The tent body is all mesh except for the floor which is coated nylon. Setup is easy- just fit the poles into the four corner grommets and clip the tent body to the poles (five minutes or less). The fly covers the whole tent completely and clips at the corners with four quick-release buckles. It's not as lightweight as a bivy/tube-style solo tent but it's much roomier and freestanding too. I haven't used it in the rain yet but the fly is coated and seam-taped so it shouldn't leak. It's priced at around $100 but you could probably find it on sale for less (it was on sale at rei-outlet.com for under $70 when I purchased it). It would not be a good tent in high winds or falling snow so winter or high elevation (above treeline) would not be good conditions in which to use this tent. But for most other situations it should work fine. My overall opinion is that the Orion 1 is a reasonably priced and well-made solo backpacking tent."
