"Yep. Mine's 25 years old and I'll probably use it another 25 years. It's never failed me. I wore out two pumps but those are accessory items.
Buy one and you'll never have to buy another.
RELIABLE."

"I've had my Svea for 26 years. I paid $9.95 for it in January of '72. It is the best investment I have ever made. It doesn't have a shaker or a self-cleaning orifice. It doesn't need them. I use an aluminum windscreen and during the winter I use a phenolic base to insulate the tank from the snow. It ALWAYS works! It idles better than any other stove I have seen. After 26 years, it finally failed me on the last trip. The rubber gasket on the filler cap was so hard and brittle it would no longer hold pressure. A new $2.00 gasket and we're good for another 26 years. I wouldn't trade my Svea for any stove on the market."
