"This stove is s cool tool,
I was going to buy a Snow Peak
Micro Stove for around $50.00
when I came across this stove for $14.95. In a hot deal add on the net. It's not as small as the Snow Peak, but it will do what it is intended to do, cook food. And that it will do well. Folds up small and fits in a small Crown Roial Bag and in to my mess kit. For hitting the trail light,
this stove is a great deal."
"I've had my Bluet for over 10 years. It is a good warm weather camping stove. My backpacking buddy has a Whisperlite. The Whisperlite takes 1/4 the time to boil water. You'd think that this makes the Whisperlite a better stove all around. It's not that simple. For "cooking", like making pancakes, browning freeze-dried hash browns, and Making coffee with my tiny camp percolator, the Bluet is much better than the Whisperlite which is always too hot and burns stuff to the pots. The two devices actually compliment each other very well on a trip.
This stove does not work in cold weather at all. The fuel will only gassify in temperatures over about freezing. On cold weather trips I have to leave it at home."
