"Definitely provides added comfort & warmth for less money than Thermarest. It also packs slightly lighter since it has a narrower, mummy shaped design, but this feature makes it slightly less comfortable (for me) b/c I roll over & have to reposition. It lacks companion accessories (such as Thermarest's chair) but that's also one less thing to pack. For comfort/packability i'd call it par to Thermarest, but not as thick or wide as say a foam mat. if you have the room, i'd say for price & comfort foam is best, but this is packable way to go!"
