"Positives:
Small, light, convenient canisters, bright in a tent.
Negatives:
Not very bright in a cabin unless the fuel canister is warm. I used four of these lanterns in a Forest Service cabin and was unimpressed by the lumen output. I had to hold one near my cook stove just to see my scrambled eggs."
"The Snow Peak Giga Power Lantern is the sidekick to the Giga Power Stove that I chose for my kayak camping supplies. It is small in packed size(3"x2 1/2"x2")and only weighs 4.5 oz. in its own plastic storage case. Like the stove is has a electric ignitor and gives off plenty of light to cook by or light a tent. It runs off butane/propane canisters and is quit adequate for heating a small tent as long as you have good ventilation. This lantern has a single mantle and is very user friendly. It is a bit costly at around $85.00, but for the size in my opinion it is worth it for my purposes."
