"I have seen some reviews count these as toys, however they are sadly mistaken and will be sorry if they ever leave it at home when they needed it. I paid about $170 for this GPS device and (as most) its accuracy is about 30m. Thats pretty close if your in trouble in the mountains and need to get a rescue team in. I mountain climb with my gps and this thing is awsome. I have had to get a rescue team in for another team on a big wall once, at the top of a climb, and it was pretty cool when the helicopter landed right on us after we gave them the exact coordinates. A life saver and a half. If you spend any time in the wilderness get one. It could save your life.
