"I love these boots. The break-in time on these was exactly 0 days! I may have been just lucky but based on past experiences with other boots I doubt it.
They have a nice, stiff Vibram sole and plenty of ankle support. The leather and tongue are waterproof and is contoured well.
I don't recall the price I paid for them ($170+?) but I don't regret a cent when I'm humping it up the Presidentials."
"I bought these boots around 1995 and wore them for about 8 years. I did everything from off-trail summits to exploring Rome with them. I loved these boots from the beginning. The quality and materials was flawless and the break in was very easy (no blisters). I've gone through a few pairs of boots in the few years since I retired the Tecnicas because nothing seems to fit and wear nearly as well as they did. I paid $180 when I got them and I'd pay that much today if Tecnica still had these boots."
