From gate at end of Fireroad70 cross pipeline swath and follow trail westerly. The trail swings to the north after about two miles as you come out of mostly spruce to a broad open saddle. At this point you are @4600 ft. At about three miles there is a junction with Flat Rock Run Trail(it goes @north).Continue 280 degrees along the 4600 ft contour about 1/2 mile, swing to 240 degrees and Thunderstruck Rock is on the 4600 contour(aprox.). Use a compass and map. Return as you came.
