Description
The total trail extends throughout the terminal glacier flow and is several hundred miles long. Not all of it is complete but in the Kettle Moraine State Forest, there are ample opportunities for hikes, backpacking and camping.

Just north of Eagle, WI is a great section of the trail that includes hardwood and softwood forest, prairie, marsh, rivers and ponds. Mostly rolling terrain with the namesake kettles, moraines and eskers to give you good variation in the trail.

Directions to Hike
South of I-94 on Hwy 67. Trailheads are located along the highway and several side roads.

Contact Information
Contact the DNR Station in Eagle for more information or check out the Ice Age Trail website. It has excellent maps and information.
