Description
A rather flat hike with gentle slopes at first. Follows Denny Creek most of the way and offers views of two beautiful waterfalls. Two to three miles in you encounter the first of two ridges. Wide open switchbacks make hot weather hiking difficult but the scenery is excellent. Shortly afterwards the steeper, second ridge looms. More open switchbacks and rocky trails soon prove worthy of the scenic lakes.
Rugged peaks surround the lakes and offer tempting climbs. Campsites abound between the two lakes. About 2100+ ft. elevation gain in 4.5 miles. 1500 of which is likely in the last 1.5 - 2 miles.

Directions to Hike
Leave I-90 at the Denny Creek / Asahel Curtis exit, on west side of the summit. Take road on north side of I-90 and head east. Take first left and follow about a mile to the trailhead.
