Mt. Lena, aka Mt. Baldy, is located in the southeastern corner of Olympic National Park in the Olympic Mountain range. Mount Lena is situated a half mile north of Upper Lena Lake and the Duckabush River valley runs west to east to its north. While not of serious climbing importance, the gentle summit offers the hiker good views of The Brothers approximately 4 miles to the northeast, Mt Constance, Mt. Stone and other peaks of the eastern edge of the range. The area around Mt Lena and Upper Lena Lake offers many opportunities for exploring from a wander along a ridge to Scout Lake to a more challenging climb of Mt Bretherton on the opposite side of the lake.
