Blue blazed is technicaly called the west ridge trail. Locals all call it the white rocks trail. Trail departs to left of powerline cut. crosses under powerlines a few times. Also briefly follows a logging road uphill, then leaves road to left and slightly downhill. There are Several intersections with other trails. When in doubt look for blue blazes. when you reach pine forest hours you are getting close. "False" white rocks come first, where trail heads right up steep incline. When you reach the boulder strewn clearing above that you are just above the white rocks. just head a few yards through the bushes downhill and you will reach the top of a huge rockslide with a view west across the Bennington Valley towards Mt Anthony. these are the real white rocks, as seen from the ground. If you follow the trail over the top of the mountain you can head north along the ridge and turn east to connect with the white blazed long trail/Appalachain trail at Goddard shelter on the summit of Glastenbury Mtn.
