Steady climbing on a trail that shifts from following an old woods road, to clamboring around some difficult terrain at the old Norcross quarry(picture going through a boulderfield at a slant), it then turns into a zigzag through a thick belt of spruce trees. Here its easy to lose the actual track itself as it meanders around a network of roots, rocks and fallen branches before coming out in the hardwoods above Knee Lookout and gradually winding to the top by the Stone Hut. It's at times a difficult climb, it took me maybe an hour and 40 minutes up and 90 back. Use of a walking stick is highly recommended. No water so bring your own. The views from the Quarry lookout, Knee Lookout and Brownsville Rock are all terrific. I plan to make this trip again too.
