Walking a short distance on the AT, you turn left onto the Mill Prong Trail. It passes through much wooded tract. It then descends to a small waterfall and crosses three streams leading to a road where Camp Hoover, a National Historic Landmark lays. This was one of the three hideaway camps for Hebert Hoover during his presidency. Many other historic cabins lay on the trail.
