Description
Open beach hike on Gulf coast bordered by sand dunes with vegetation. Hike ends at Brazos Pass Jetties across the ship channel from South Padre Island. Several crude beach houses still stand.

Directions to Hike
Take Texas State Highway 77 to Brownsville and then the Boca Chica Blvd Exit. Take this all the way until you come to Highway 4 which will lead you to the beach through approx. 15 miles of salt flats and mesas.
