Description
Beautiful trail in the Greenbrier area of SMNP. The trail follows along Porters Creek at a gentle grade for the entire trail. Good scenes of the creek and wildflowers all throughs spring and early summer. The campsite at the end is very clean with several level sites. The water source is about 50 yards down to the creek.
** There is an unmaintained trail that goes up to Charlies Bunion. The trail is rather easy to follow until is starts getting steep. If you can make it the view is quite nice.

Directions to Hike
Take 321 east from Gatlinburg,TN and turn right on Greenbrier road. Follow the road for a while and you will see a split and go right. The trail head is a little ways down.
