Description
This hike is a combination of several official trails and a little unofficial.The trail starts by going down the cable trail near the Nature Center at Cane Creek Falls. Then, hike down stream through the gorge until a branch stream enters the river from the left (may be dry in Summer). Hike up the branch stream to the base of Fall Creek Falls. Follow the switch-back trail on the right side of the falls to the rim of the gorge and the falls overlook. One then hikes around the rim of the gorge on the Cane Creek Gorge/Woodland Loop trail back to the Nature Center.

Directions to Hike
I-40 to Cookeville, TN111 through Sparta and Spencer, follow the signs to Fall Creek Falls State Park on 284.
