Description
This is a very nice park and campground with river access and
fishing. The trail itself I would rank as moderate in difficulty. It does not offer much in the way of scenery but it is an excellent exercise trail. Lots of leg burning uphills and down hills. The camp shelters are screened in and are nice compared to some. There is an old cemetary at about mid point. I recommend this hike.

Directions to Hike
Take I-40 from Nashville or Memphis to exit 126 (Parsons/Camden). Take Hwy 69 south to Parsons. In Parson, make a left onto Hwy 412. Take 412 to Perryville and cross the Tennessee River. Once across the river, follow the signs to Mousetail Landing State Park Entrance.

Trail head is located just below the Ranger station. It's easy to find. There is also a good sign with a map at the trail head.
